Hoey Tied For 28th At NCAA's ST. GEORGE, UT-- Long Beach State's Kay Hoey shot a two-over 73 in Friday's
second round of the 2007 NCAA West Regionals being held at Entrada at
Snow Canyon in St. George, UT. Hoey is tied for 28th place heading into
Saturday's final round. Leading the way is Oklahoma State's Pernilla Lindbergh
who shot a three-under 136 (68-68). Misun Cho of Pepperdine stands in
second place with a one-under 141 (71-70). Lindbergh and Cho are the only
two golfers who are under par out of the 108 golfers in the tournament.
Hoey is competing in her third NCAA West Regional, and her second as an
individual. In 2005 she finished in fifth place at the West Regionals
and earned a spot at the NCAA Championships. |
