Grabow Named All-American

Grabow Becomes 49ers First Male Distance All-American FAYETTEVILLE, AR-- Jimmy Grabow (Running Springs) became the first All-American male distance runner in Long Beach State history, finishing 11th in the indoor 5000-meter with a time of 13:59.45. Grabow in his last indoor event, was the first distance runner since Jennifer Bessell was named an All-American during the outdoor season in 1990. Grabow finishes his career with three individual school-records and four total. He was a two-time all-conference selection as a distance runner. Ronald Carter, a defending All-American in the outdoor triple jump, will compete tomorrow in the indoor triple jump. |
