Golden Goal Set for August 18

49ers Announce Annual Golden Goal Fundraiser LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State women's soccer announced its third annual Golden Goal Fundraiser this week, to take place in the Walter Pyramid's Ukleja Room on Friday, August 18 starting at 6:30 p.m. This year's event will be in the theme of a Mexican Fiesta, including food, drinks, auction items and Mariachi music, all for just $49 at the door. All of the proceeds benefit LBSU Soccer. To make a reservation, please call (562) 985-2528 or email wwhitman@csulb.edu. The event will also feature upwards of 50 auction items, highlighted by five-day vacation package to Kuaui, a houseboat vacation in Arizona and a hotel stay on the beachfront of Monterey. Entertainment Tickets, restraunt certificates and autographed merchandise will also be available. The team also is selling a season ticket package for $30 for all six of the team's home games beginning on September 1.
