Rivalry First: Game Cancelled Due to Malfunction LONG BEACH, CA-- College Baseball's Best Rivalry heated up on Saturday. Literally. The second game of the CS Fullerton-Long Beach State game was cancelled due to a malfunction to the light standard on the third base side of Blair Field 10 minutes prior to first pitch. No one was injured as the standard smoked for a couple of minutes. The series will be part of a doubleheader on Sunday, starting at 11 a.m. Tickets from Saturday's game will be honored for the first game of the doubleheader only. Tickets for Sunday's game will be honored for the second game only. Fans who can not attend the first game of the doubleheader can still get a refund, if they bring back their original ticket stub to the Walter Pyramid Box Office. The regular season concludes on Sunday at well. |
