Spring Schedule Announced

49ers Set Spring Schedule LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State women's soccer, which went a school-best 12-5-3 during the fall, announced its spring practice schedule for games highlighted by a March 20 match at the Home Depot Center in Carson, CA against the U20 Women's National Team. The 49ers will begin its spring schedule on February 25 with two games on the campus of the University of San Diego, playing UCSD at 10:30 a.m. and another game against the Toreros at 1:30 p.m. On March 5, the 49ers will host Floria Atlantic at 9:45 a.m. and a semi pro team known as Ajax at 4 p.m. The spring will be highlighted by the match at the Home Depot Center against the U20 National Team at 5 p.m. This will be the team's first ever exhibition against a U.S. National team, as the program previously played the Mexican National Team under former Head Coach Peter Reynaud. The 49ers will close out the spring with two games at Loyola Marymount on March 29 and two more matches at the Temecula Soccer Complex on April 9. The team also announced two fundraisers, the second annual Cow Plot on April 29 and the second annual Golden Goal Gala on August 18. COMPLETE SPRING SCHEDULE |
