Bolt, Silos Named All-Region

Duo Named All-Region by the NSCAA LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State sophomores Hayley Bolt (Lakewood) and Kim Silos (Ontario) were each named to the NSCAA's All-West Regional team, with Bolt earning a place on the second team and Silos being named to the third team. The two awards are the first regional honors for the program. Bolt, the Big West Conference's Midfielder of the Year, finished the year second in goals scored (8), third in the conference in scoring with 20 points and seventh in assists (4). Silos, the Big West's Offensive Player of the Year, led the league in goals (9), points (27) and assists (9). The 49ers finished the year with the best record in school-history, at 14-5-1 and won their first ever regular season Big West title. |
