Duo Solid in Fullerton; Temidara 11th at NCAAs

Sampson, Reynolds Solid in Fullerton FULLERTON, CA-- Long Beach State freshman David Sampson hurled the conference's best mark of the season in the shot put, while Jill Reynolds recorded the seventh-best pole vault in school-history at the Ben Brown Invitational on Saturday. Sampson's mark of 54'8", ranks first in the Big West, as the former Nevada football player won the shot put. Reynolds, who had the fourth-best pole vault in 49er indoor history last month, jumped to the seventh-best outdoor mark with a height of 11'5.75". Reynolds finished in the top-six in her event on Saturday. Meanwhile at the NCAA Indoor Championships in Fayetteville, AR, John Temidara finished in 11th place in the high jump with a height of 6'11.75". |
