Big West Fall Academic All-Conference Teams

Several 49ers Earn Academic Big West Honors LONG BEACH, CA-- Sixteen Long Beach State student-athletes were honored this week as they were named to the 2005 Big West Academic All-Conference Team for fall sports. There are a total of 95 student-athletes conference wide from the eight member institutions who earned All-Academic honors this fall for the sports of women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country. To be eligible for the tea, student-athletes have to maintain a 3.2 cumulative grade point average, complete one full academic year at the institiution prior to the season for which the award is being received and compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests. The Long Beach State selections are listed below. |
