Lefler Earns Second Big West Honor of the Season IRVINE, CA--Senior Doug Lefler was named the Big West Male Field Event Athlete of the Week for last week, April 30, after an impressive performance at the Drake Relays in Iowa. Lefler won the javelin with a throw of 213'11" in the meet. This is the second honor for the Montana import and the sixth time a 49er has been honored by the Big West as an athlete of the week. |
