Beach Finish In 3rd Place At Big West Meet
Two 49ers Finish In Top Five

MISSION VIEJO, CA-- The Long Beach State women's golf team finished in third place at the 2004 Big West Conference Women's Golf Championships being held at Tijeras Creek Golf Course in Mission Viejo. The Beach shot a 311 in the final round and finished with a three-round score of 938 (312-315-311). CS Northridge won the team competition with a 925 and UC Irvine finished in second place at 929.
49er freshman Bolee Kim tied for third place with a 228 (77-76-75) and earned second all-conference honors. Marie Louise Juul finished in fifthplace with a 229 (77-76-76) and waas selected first team All-Big West for the third time in her 49er career. Beth Holtermann tied for 11th place at 239 (77-83-79). Elizabeth Allen of CS Northridge won the individual title with a 209 (67-72-70) and UC Irvine's Angela Won came in second with a 224 (71-78-75).
