Roemer Signs NLI for 2004

Roemer Inks NLI For 2004 LONG BEACH, CA-- Long Beach State soccer announced today that midfielder Brittany Roemer (Danville, CA/San Ramon Valley HS) has signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the school starting in 2004. Roemer is the fourth prep star to sign on for 2004, joining forward Elena Tovar (Madera, CA/Madera HS) and midfielders Hillary Goldberg (Woodbridge, CA/Lodi HS) and Kelli Goes (Manteca, CA/East Union HS), who signed NLI's in early March. Roemer was an All-East Bay Athletic League pick in 2004 and earned the Tri Valley Herald's Most Under-estimated Player Award. San Ramon Valley High won league in 2004 and were North Coast Section Finalists in 2003. Reomer also played on the state Olympic Development Team in 2000 and the District ODP teams from 2001 to 2003. The 49ers continue to gather names for its head coaching position after Peter Reynaud announced his retirement earlier this month after 22 years as a head coach. |
