Beach Finishes 3rd At Santa Clara Invite
Marie Louise Juul Finishes 3rd With a 147
March 23, 2004 CARMEL, CA-- The Long Beach State women's golf team shot a 301 in the second round and finished in third place at the Santa Clara University Colby Invitational at the Rancho Canada Golf Club with a score of 610 (309-301). The University of Oregon won the team title with a 603 and Idaho came in second at 609.
Long Beach State senior Marie Louise Juul finished in third place overall with a 147 (73-74). Freshman Bolee Kim tied for seventh place with a 149 (76-73). Michelle Timpani (Oregon) and Lindsay Snowden (UC Riverside) both tied for first place at 146 after the two rounds, but Timpani won the individual title by winning on the sixth sudden-death playoff hole.
