Reynaud to be Honored by Sonoma State

Reynaud to be Inducted Into Sonoma State HOF ROHNERT PARK, CA-- Current Long Beach State Women's Soccer Coach Peter Reynaud will return to where he began his coaching career when he is inducted into the Sonoma State Athletics Hall of Fame on February 29. Reynaud coached the Cossacks from 1981 to 1984 and from 1987 to 1994, before starting the Fresno State and coaching the Bulldogs from 1995 to 2000. He has spent the past three seasons at Long Beach State, leading The Beach to a school-record 9-9-0 mark this past year and 19-29-7 record in three seasons. While at Sonoma State, Reynaud went 146-57-15 over 12 years, winning the NCAA Championship in 1990 and reaching the NCAAs five straight years from 1990 to 1994. Reynaud won six conference titles and coached 12 All-Americans, including former 49er Head Coach Julie Cochran. He remains the all-time leader in wins with 146. Reyanud entered 2003, 13th all-time in career victories with 236 and has a 244-145-30 record in 22 years of coaching. |
