SAAC Joins Forces in the Community

The members of the Long Beach State Student Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) hosted a holiday party for three deserving families at the Boys & Girls Club of Long Beach. The 49er Student-Athletes were determined to share some of their blessings with those that might need a little extra help in making the holiday season special. Each 49er team collected donations from the team members as well as coaches to purchase the many gifts. Over 35 Student-Athletes attended the holiday party to help distribute the gifts to the 16 children of the three families. This project was completely developed and organized by the SAAC to give a little back to its community. All in attendance enjoyed the joyous looks from the children and were happy to spread a little holiday cheer.
