Online Ticketing Starts August 15

ONLINE TICKETING STARTS AUG. 15
Fans Able to Purchase Tickets Through Website Starting Wednesday

LONG BEACH, CA-- Starting Wednesday, August 15, fans who are interested in purchasing tickets to Pyramid events, including Long Beach State Athletic games, can do so at www.longbeachstate.com. Once online, fans will have access, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to the same group of tickets and price ranges that are available by calling the Pyramid Box Office.

The service will be run in association with Paciolan, a widely used ticketing service, already installed in the Box Office?s computer systems.

'I think it provides a great 24-hour customer service to people who can not purchase tickets during normal business hours," said Russell Hayden, director of ticket marketing. "We?re also the first Big West team to offer our tickets online."

Tickets purchased within 10 days of the event will be left at will call, while tickets for games 'father out' will be mailed to the buyer. A valid credit card is needed for all transactions. Starting in September, Long Beach State season ticket holders will be given the option to renew their tickets online.

Women's volleyball tickets will be on sale starting August 15, while single game tickets for men's and women's basketball will be available later this fall.
