Steven Deutsch, a Chula Vista, California native, currently serves as a Business Operations Coordinator for Long Beach State Athletics, managing financial operations such as reimbursements, deposits, and account reconciliations while coordinating team travel and hotel accommodations. A former five year member of the Long Beach State men’s golf team, Deutsch was part of four Big West Conference Championship teams, served two years as team captain, and capped his collegiate career with a victory at the Les Fowler Individual Invitational, shooting a final-round 63 which was the fourth lowest single round score in program history.

Deutsch was also active in student-athlete leadership, serving three years on SAAC, including 1 year as Vice President, as well as two years on Long Beach State’s Leadership Council and as the Big West’s male SAAC representative at council meetings. Before joining the Athletics Business Office, he served as an Athletic Administration Intern at the Beach, supporting NCAA grant initiatives, senior athletics staff, special events, and event management. Deutsch earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration with double majors in Business Management and Supply Chain Management from Long Beach State and is currently completing his master’s degree in Sport Management.
