Sarah Medik continues with the program, working as an assistant coach in her second season following the conclusion of her playing career with the Beach as an assistant coach.

A second team All-Big West selection in singles following the 2022-23 season, Medik played two seasons with Long Beach State after starting her career with three seasons of competitive tennis at Southern Miss, where she was named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team.

Medik routinely received academic honors and was a multiple Academic All-Conference and ITA All-Academic selection throughout her collegiate career and was named CSC Academic All-District in 2024, graduating with a degree in International Business.
