Lindy Zamora joined the Long Beach State media relations staff in 2016 as an Associate Director of Media Relations. Zamora works with the Beach women's volleyball, women’s basketball, men’s volleyball, and men's golf.
Prior to coming to Long Beach State, Zamora served as Director of Sports Media at Cal State Fullerton and Assistant Director of Media Relations at East Carolina and Angelo State. Zamora also gained experience in the athletic media relations field with stints at the University of Redlands, Loyola Chicago and The Summit League.
As an undergraduate student at UCLA, Zamora worked in the athletic department both in the sports information and marketing offices. In sports information, she worked primarily with the Bruins baseball team.
A native of Redlands, Calif., Zamora graduated from Crafton Hills College in 2004 with an Associate's Degree in mathematics and earned her Bachelor's Degree in English from UCLA in 2007.
Zamora and her cat, Lilly Lou, reside in Huntington Beach.
