Leticia Southern currently serves as the Athletics Financial Specialist at Long Beach State, where she manages financial operations, budgeting, and expense tracking for the Athletics department since 2022.

First joining the department in 2019, she previously served as the Assistant Director of Facilities, Operations and Event Management, where she oversaw daily operations and events at Blair Field, the Walter Pyramid and other Athletics facilities.

Prior to her return to Long Beach State, she built a strong foundation in live events, professional sports, and nonprofit operations, working with prominent organizations including the Tiger Woods Foundation, Insomniac Events, the Los Angeles Kings, and StubHub.

A Nipomo, CA native, Southern earned her Master’s Degree in Sport Management, Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies, and Certificate in Event Planning Management at the Beach.
