Lauren Goins serves as the Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development at Long Beach State Athletics, where she leads the department’s comprehensive fundraising efforts. With a passion for higher education and collegiate athletics, as well as a deep commitment to fostering student-athlete success, Lauren is responsible for driving philanthropic support for scholarships, facilities, and program enhancements.

In her role, Lauren oversees the development and execution of strategic fundraising initiatives while building and maintaining strong relationships with donors, alumni, and the broader community. She also provides sport supervision for the men’s and women’s golf programs, supporting the teams’ operational and competitive success.

Lauren brings a wealth of experience in athletic development, having previously held key positions at Cal Poly Pomona, Cal State Fullerton, and USA Volleyball. She holds a master’s degree in Sport Management from the German Sport University and a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Cal State Fullerton, where she was also a standout volleyball athlete.

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Lauren enjoys beach volleyball and traveling, and is an active member of the Century Club of Long Beach and the Elks Lodge.
