Jenna Giambi returns to her alma mater beginning in 2026 in a new role as an assistant coach. Giambi spent five years with the program including a redshirt season, concluding her time at the Beach in 2024, serving as a team captain and making 220 digs as the Beach went 19-11 under Natalie Reagan in her first season. Giambi was a two-time Academic All-Big West selection and served as the team’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee representative as a leader on and off of the court.

After graduation, Giambi moved to England where she was a starting libero as a graduate student for Durham University. During her time there, Giambi helped Durham post an undefeated 4-0 record, winning three national championships, including the MAAREE Women’s Super League and the BUCS National Champion.

In addition to her playing career, Giambi has multiple years of club coaching experience, working as an assistant coach with Mizuno Long Beach as well as a head coach with Pinnacle Athletic Club and SC Rockstar.
