Emily DeMots came to the beach as the Director of Compliance in July 2024, where she ensures institutional integrity and adherence to NCAA regulations. A passionate and results-driven athletic administrator with prior roles as the Compliance Coordinator at San Diego State University and Director of Women’s Volleyball Operations at Saint Mary’s College of California. Emily brings a well-rounded perspective to collegiate athletics operations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Portland and an MBA with a specialization in entrepreneurship from Saint Mary’s College. A former indoor and beach volleyball student-athlete, Emily is deeply committed to optimizing operations, fostering meaningful relationships within the sports community, and championing continuous culture improvement and professional development to empower individuals and teams to reach their full potential.
