Moorer joined the LBSU coaching staff in 2013-14 following a successful playing career, playing a part in the program's turnaround, culminating in back-to-back WNIT appearances.
Her return to the Beach came following four successful seasons as a player with Long Beach State. As a senior, Moorer led the Beach in scoring with 12.7 points per game and earned second-team All-Big West honors. She also excelled in the classroom as she was a three-time Big West All-Academic selection.
After graduating, Moorer worked with School of Skills, a year-round fundamental basketball camp based in Manhattan Beach. She also joined the Los Angeles unit of the California Basketball Officials Association and was a referee at the high school level.
Moorer graduated from Long Beach State with a bachelor's degree in communications and a minor in marketing in 2012, and attained her master's in sport management in 2015. She spent her hiatus abroad before rejoining Jeff Cammon's staff.
