Kaylin Randhawa joined the Long Beach State women's basketball staff as an assistant coach in the summer of 2026 after beginning her collegiate coaching career at Cal State Monterey Bay.
Randhawa spent the 2024-25 season as an assistant coach with the Otters after serving as the director of player development at Sacramento State. In her first collegiate coaching role, she assisted with player development, recruiting and the day-to-day operations of the program.
Before entering the coaching profession, Randhawa completed a distinguished collegiate playing career that spanned five seasons at Pacific, Utah State and Sacramento State. She appeared in 143 career games and scored more than 1,000 career points while earning a reputation as a versatile guard and playmaker.
Randhawa concluded her collegiate career at Sacramento State during the historic 2022-23 season, helping lead the Hornets to their first Big Sky Conference regular season championship, first Big Sky Tournament title and the program's first NCAA Tournament appearance. As a senior, she averaged 9.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game while ranking second on the team with 73 assists.
Following her playing career, Randhawa remained with the Hornets as director of player development before returning to her hometown to teach fifth grade and coach at her alma mater, Pitman High School.
A native of Turlock, California, Randhawa earned her bachelor's degree in integrated studies from Utah State before completing her multiple-subject teaching credential at Sacramento State. She brings firsthand championship experience, player development expertise and strong recruiting ties throughout California to the Long Beach State women's basketball program.
