The Beach has added frontcourt depth and Big West experience to its 2026-27 class with the signing of transfer forward Danijela Kujovic
LONG BEACH, Calif. -- Long Beach State has officially signed Danijela Kujovic, a 6-1 forward from Victoria, Australia, who joins the Beach after spending the last two seasons at Hawai'i.
Danijela Kujovic | Forward | 6-1 | Victoria, Australia
Kujovic brings Division I experience and a strong developmental background to Long Beach State after beginning her collegiate career with the Rainbow Wahine. Over two seasons in the Big West Conference, she appeared in 21 games and gained valuable experience competing at the Division I level.
As a freshman in 2024-25, Kujovic played in six games before an injury shortened her season. She averaged 10.7 minutes per game and scored a season-high six points against UT Martin while knocking down a pair of three-pointers. Returning as a redshirt freshman in 2025-26, she appeared in 15 games with one start and averaged 8.4 minutes per contest while setting a career high with 11 points.
Before arriving in Hawai'i, Kujovic established herself as one of the top young defensive prospects in Australia. She starred for the Bulleen Boomers club program and helped lead the organization to the U18 National Junior Classic championship in 2022 before contributing to Big V Youth League and Women's championship teams in 2023.
Kujovic earned Big V Youth League Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2022 after averaging an impressive 4.36 blocks per game, including a single-game high of nine blocks. She was also selected to represent Victoria at the 2023 Australian Junior Championships as a member of the state's Under-20 team.
Head Coach Minyon Moore on Kujovic:

We are thrilled to welcome Dani to our program! She is an experienced player whose versatility allows her to impact the game in a variety of ways. With a well-rounded skill set, Dani can stretch defenses with her shooting, play at a high pace in transition, and disrupt opponents defensively with her length and toughness. Her familiarity with and experience in the Big West will be a tremendous asset to our team, and we are excited for the impact she will make on our program. Welcome to the Beach, Dani!
