King Named Big West Freshman Volleyball Player Of The Week

King recorded 30 kills and hit over .300 during week one of the 2025 season
LONG BEACH, Calif.— Long Beach State's Logan King was named the Big West Freshman Volleyball Player of the Week on Sept. 1.
King paced the Beach to a 1-1 record during the opening week of competition against No. 6 Stanford and Oregon State. In the season opener versus the Cardinal, King recorded 13 kills, nine digs, two service aces, and two assists in a 3-1 loss.
King led LBSU to a sweep of Oregon State on Sunday night. She posted 17 kills on .419 hitting while adding four digs, two block assists, and an ace.
Long Beach State hosts No. 18 UCLA on Monday night beginning at 5 p.m. on ESPN+.
