The Beach women receive the honor for the 27th time
LONG BEACH, Calif.—The Long Beach State Men's and Women's Cross Country teams were awarded U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic Teams' honors for the 2024 season.
The Beach women recorded a 3.434 GPA to earn the honor for the 27th time. The program was established in 1997, giving the team program the distinction of being honored in every year of the award's history. The Long Beach State men recorded a 3.055 GPA to receive the honor for the seventh time and the second year in a row.
To qualify for All-Academic distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
