Rodea fired a 7-under par 65 to storm into the lead in the opening round, and followed with a pair of 3-under par 69 rounds to finish 13-under for the tournament, leading the Beach to a second place finish in the tournament.
At the El Macero Classic, Rodea followed with a top-half finish once again in the 84-golfer field. In the month of April, Roeda was under par in five of six total rounds with a stroke average of 70.50.
