LONG BEACH, Calif. –
Long Beach State won its third-straight with a 69-55 victory over Dartmouth on Friday at the Beach Classic behind four double-figure performances and a double-double from Kristyna Jeskeova.

The Beach (5-3) shot 47.5-percent from the field and led by as many as 22 points in the contest, while never trailing as the Big Green (2-9) suffered its sixth loss in the last seven games. LBSU turned in a dominating performance leading Dartmouth in assists (18-11), steals (15-5), and blocks (5-0), while the Big Green held the edge in rebounding (31-28).

Jeskeova, a junior guard, led the way for Long Beach with 10 points, 15 rebounds, six steals, and two blocks. The double-double is the first of the season and third in her career. She connected on 4-of-7 field goals, with one coming from long distance as she kicked off the game with a three.

The three-pointer from Jeskeova to start the game jump-started an 11-0 Long Beach State run as the Beach held Dartmouth scoreless for nearly five minutes. The Beach used another run, this time eight-straight points, to extend their lead to 13 (19-6) and held a 21-10 lead at the end of the first quarter.

Long Beach continued its strong offensive output in the second quarter as the Beach outscored Dartmouth, 21-13 and shot 50-percent from the field. LBSU used two more scoring runs in the frame to break the game open with a 42-20 advantage as the Beach led the Big Green, 42-23, at halftime.

Dartmouth had a stronger second half and managed to cut Long Beach State's lead down to 14 (53-39) by the end of the third quarter. The Big Green managed to make it a single-digit game in the fourth quarter as the Beach held a nine-point lead on two occasions in the final 10 minutes. However, Long Beach State continued to play their game and pushed their led back up to 19 (67-48) after a turnaround jumper from Malia Bambrick with 1:46 remaining. By the time the clock expired, LBSU held a 14-point lead winning, 69-55.

Bambrick, along with senior guard Tori Harris, led Long Beach State in scoring with 13 points each. Bambrick also added three assists, three boards, and one steal, while Harris contributed four rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block.

Rounding out the Beach's double-figure scorers was junior guard Kianna Hamilton-Fisher who concluded the game with 12 points to go along with three assists, two rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.

Senior guard Ma'Qhi Berry turned in another solid outing with a season-high seven assists, while adding six points and two steals.
