Beach Athletic Fund Set for Giving Tuesday Tomorrow

The Beach Athletic Fund to join millions around the world in celebration of Giving Tuesday on November 29th, 2022
Tomorrow is an exciting opportunity to celebrate our championship traditions and to fuel the future here at the Beach. For over 70 years, Long Beach State student-athletes have proudly represented our university accumulating 15 National Championships, 151 Conference Championships, 688 All-American honorees, and 241 Olympians. As we strive to build upon these accomplishments on and off the field of play, it is our goal to elevate Long Beach State Athletics to further national prominence. Â
To compete at the highest level of NCAA Division I Athletics, your generosity and support is more critical than ever. On this Giving Tuesday, we are focusing our efforts on student-athlete scholarships and emphasizing the significance such support has on a student-athlete.
Women's Golf senior Hannah Ko says, "it brings me motivation to work harder and dedication to show them that I can pursue the future career path that I want to pursue".
Now is the time to Fuel the Future. By using the collective power of student-athletes, families, alumni and friends of the Beach to celebrate generosity, you will make a difference in the lives of our student-athletes. Every gift no matter the size counts.

Giving Tuesday is a global campaign designed to bring people together for a day of giving. Founded in 2012, Giving Tuesday is celebrated by millions of people around the world on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving or at the beginning of the holiday season. This year, it is on Tuesday, November 29th, 2022. The idea is to use the collective power of student-athletes, families, alumni and teams to encourage giving and to celebrate generosity. Giving Tuesday demonstrates how every act of generosity counts — no matter how small or large — and they mean even more when we give together.
