Gibson, Lim tied for 35th at Stevinson Ranch Invitational

STEVINSON, Calif. - Playing as individuals, Long Beach State junior Steve Gibson and freshman Kevin Lim tied for 35th and sophomore Ricky Montanez tied for 57th at the Stevinson Ranch Invitational hosted by the University of Colorado.

Gibson (75-73-77) and Lim (76-73-76) finished with a three-round score of a nine-over 225, while Montanez (74-78-79) carded a 15-over 231 Tuesday morning at the Stevinson Ranch Golf Club.

Pat Grady (69-68-71) of Colorado won the individual medalist by one-stroke with an eight-under 208 over Ryan Hallisey (71-69-69) of Nevada.

Nevada won the team championship by nine shots over tournament host and second place Colorado as the Wolfpack recorded an 869 (292-288-289).

LBSU returns to action Apr. 20-21, as they travel to San Luis Obispo for the Big West Conference Championships.
