49ers Tied For 18th After Darkness Sets In
Edwards And Keller Shoot a 77 In First round
March 8, 2004 MURRELLS INLET, SC--The Long Beach State men's golf team is tied for 18th place after one round of the General Jim Hackler Invitational at the TPC of Myrtle Beach. Darkness suspended the second round of play. The completion of the second round and round three will be completed on Tuesday. The 49ers shot a 314 in the first round, while team leader Pepperdine shot a 292. Wake Forest is second with a 297.
Individually, Torey Edwards and Jeremy Keller each shot a 77 in the first round and are tied for 46th place.
