Terry Metcalf

Metcalf made his collegiate debut in 1971, rushing 267 times for 1673 yards and setting the NCAA college division record for rushing TDs (28), total TDs (29) and points (178). Although bothered by injuries as a senior, Metcalf finished with career totals of 2432 yards rushing and 45 touchdowns. Metcalf played professionally in St. Louis, Toronto and Washington DC. In 1975, Metcalf set an NFL record with 2462 all-purpose yards. He was one of the first four NFL player to account for touchdowns five different ways (rushing, receiving, passing, punt and kickoff returns) in one season. His son, Eric, also played in the NFL.
