Shawna Gordon Palmer

A key midfielder on the most successful team in Long Beach State history, Shawna Gordon Palmer was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2024.  A four-time All-Big West selection, Gordon was named the Big West Midfielder of the Year in 2011, helping guide Long Beach State to an Elite Eight appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Following her collegiate career, Gordon became the first player from Long Beach State to make the shift to professional play in the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
