There are few, if any, supporters more loyal to 49er athletics than Sam Breuklander. He has been on the 49er Athletic Foundation board of directors since 1979 and has twice served as its president. He was also president of the Century Club, a community organization that promotes sports in Long Beach, and was also president-elect of the 49er Foundation.
