Randy Moffitt

Moffit is a product of Long Beach... Hughes Junior High, Poly High and Long Beach State. He pitched for the 49er varsity for three seasons and his 18-10 career record set a school-record for wins. In the summer between his freshman and sophomore years at LBSU, Moffitt pitched Long Beach to the Connie Mack National Championship. Drafted out of LBSU by San Francisco, Moffitt pitched for 10 years with the Giants before finishing his 12-year career with Houston and Toronto. A relief pitcher, Moffitt had 43 wins and 96 saves during his career. Moffitt is also the brother of tennis legend Billie Jean King.
