Paul Goydos

The first three-time Moore League champion as a member of Marty Walker's golf team at Wilson High, Goydos matriculated to Long Beach State to play four seaosn for 49er Coach Del Walker, Marty's husband. As a senior in 1986, Goydos was All-Pacific Coast Athletic Association and captured the 1986 Pacific Coast Intercollegiate tournament at Corona. He is a member of the inaugural class of the Long Beach Golf Hall of Fame, established in 1996. Goydos moved on to be a professional golfer on the PGA tour following his four-year stint for the 49ers. Goydos won the Long Beach Open in 1990 and the Ben Hogan Yuma Open in 1992.
