Miles Pabst

A two-time All-American and a six-time member of the U.S. National Team, Pabst led the 49ers into the NCAA Finals in 1973 when they were defeated by San Diego State, 3-1. Pabst's skills in volleybal took him around the world. As a member of the U.S. tam, Pabst was on the 1971 silver medal Pan American Games team. He also played in the world championships in Sofia, Bulgaria in 1970 and Mexico City in 1974 and in the World Championships in Prague, in 1973. Pabst also coached the volleyball team at Long Beach State (1974-76) and at the University of Oklahoma.
