Mike Horan

The records show that Horan is the best punter in Long Beach State history. His records include career average (42.9), seasonal average (44.9) and average in a game (49.5). Drafted by Atlanta in the ninth round of the 1982 draft, Horan went through three teams before catching on with the Philadelphia Eagles, where he earned All-Rookie team honors. Horan was the Eagle punter for two seasons before spending a short time in Minnesota. From there, Horan went to Denver, were he was a key part of three Bronco teams that went to the Super Bowl.
