Certainly one of the university's most inspirational students ever. Born with a hearing impairment, Cummings was a four-time all-conference and two-time All-American for the 49ers. She is in the top five in five career categories. A member of the University Games silver medal-winning U.S. team of 1985, Cummings followed her collegiate career playing basketball for a professional team in Catanzaro, Italy.
