Jackie Moore
- Induction:
- 2006
One of the most popular players in 49er history, Jackie Moore overcame many obstacles during her time at Long Beach State. Moore, the 2001 Big West Conference Player of the Year, was a four-year letterwinner for the 49ers. A local product out of Long Beach Poly High School, Moore saw her playing time increase with each season. As a senior she averaged 18.5 points and 8.1 rebounds per game while shooting .562 from the field. She helped lead the 49ers to the Big West Tournament championship game and was a first team all-league and first team Kodak All-District VII selection. Moore played one year in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever and has played professional basketball overseas since 2002. She graduated in 2002 with a degree in Criminal Justice and is entertaining thoughts of graduate school or law school.
