Lusk ranks third all-time in rushing at Long Beach State with 2,142 career yards and he is ninth all-time in scoring with 114 career points on 19 touchdowns. His 441 career rushing attempts ranks third all-time and he ran for 1,596 yards in 1975 on 310 carries, the No. 3 single season rushing mark in school history. Lusk also scored 16 touchdowns in that 1975 campaign. His 310 rushing attempts in 1975 is a school-record. He ran for 258 yards on10/4/75 at Southern Illinois, a mark which ranks third all-time and his 209 yards vs. Pacific (9/26/75) ranks fifth, his 198 yards vs. Hawai’i (11/8/75) ranks eighth and his 190 yards vs. Fresno State (10/18/75) ranks 10th on the 49er single game record sheet. In 1975 he ranked second in the nation in rushing at 145.1 yards per game, eighth in all-purpose running (150.7 ypg), 4th in scoring (98.7 ppg) and 25th in total offense (145.1 ypg). A first team All-PCAA selection in 1975, he was also an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American pick. Lusk was drafted in the 10th Round of the 1976 NFL Draft by the Philadelphia Eagles and played three years in Philadelphia (1976-78). He appeared in 28 total games rushing for 483 yards and two touchdowns. A religious leader in Philadelphia and Pastor at the Greater Exodus Baptist Church, Lusk is the current Founder & President of People for People in Philadelphia.
