Glenn McDonald

Glenn McDonald played a key role on the best basketball team in Long Beach State history, the No. 2-ranked 24-2 team of 1973-74. McDonald was the standout defensive player on that club and a clutch shooter. A first-round draft choice of the Boston Celtics, McDonald played in the NBA, in Europe and in the Phillipines. In the Phillipines, McDonald was both a player and a coach on championship teams. McDonald also worked as an assistant with the women's team, was the 49ers head coach in the early 1990's and was an assitant with the Los Angeles Sparks of the WNBA.
