cott was the 1993 AVCA Player of the Year after leading the 49ers to their second NCAA Championship. Since that time, she has been a member of the U.S. National Team and played in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games. Scott was twice a first team All-American, and twice named Big West Player of the Year, in addition to her three first team All-Big West selections. Scott is the school record holder in block assists, with 470, and hitting percentage, at .421, and posted the highest single-season attack percentage ever at Long Beach, hitting .452 in 1992. She ranks second all-time at Long Beach in career block solos with 134 and kills with 1,778. Scott is the ninth women’s volleyball player to be inducted into the 49er Hall of Fame, and just the third player from the Brian Gimmillaro era, joining Tara Cross-Battle (1995) and Antoinnette White (1997).
