Candace Cable

Cable has been a wheelchair competitor since 1987. At the time of her induction, she was a winner of 55 national and international marathons, including six Boston Marathon championships. She captured the bronze medal at the 1984 and 1988 Olympics in the Disabled 800 Meter Wheelchar Track competition. She was an Olympic Finalist in 1992 after finishing in fifth place. Cable has also been a competitor on the National Ski Team for six years at the Winter Paralympic Games.
