Bryon Russell

A three-year letterwinner (1991-93) for Long Beach State, Bryon Russell has made a name for himself on the national scene as a key member of the Utah Jazz of the NBA. Russell was selected second team All-Big West in 1992 and he was named to the Big West All-Tournament Team in 1992 and 1993. His 12.6 point per game career scoring average ranks #10 in 49er history and his .513 career field goal percentage ranks fourth-best. Russell also ranks seventh in career rebounds (567) and seventh in career steals (125)...in his second season in 1992-93 he helped lead the 49ers to the Big West Tournament title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Russell was selected in the second Round of the 1993.
