Brita Schwerm Bolane

Was a first team All-American in 1995 for the 49ers, as well a first team All-District. Schwerm lettered four years in volleyball and was a two-time first team All-Big West selection (1994, 1995), second team as a sophomore (1993) and was on the Big West All-Freshman squad in 1992. She was also a key member of the 1993 NCAA Championship squad. Schwerm ranks 7th on the 49er career kill chart with 1,344 kills and No. 9 in career digs with 928. As a senior in 1995 she tallied 598 kills, a mark which ranks #6 all-time on the 49er single season chart.. Her 1,244 total attempts that season is the 6th-best single season mark. Schwerm had 27 digs in a match vs. Michigan State, tied for the fifth-best single match.
