2011: Earned the start in 21 of 27 matches played ... Ranked second on the team and fourth in the MPSF with 1.16 blocks per set ... Also compiled 109 kills (1.14/set) and a .428 hitting percentage ... Registered a career-high 10 kills vs. USC on Feb. 25 ... Finished with just one error on 16 attempts for a .562 clip ... Hit .875 (7-0-8) against UC Irvine on April 6 ... Also did not commit an error in six other matches with at least five attempts ... Notched a career-best 11 blocks in a three-set victory over Cal State Northridge (April 16).
2010: Played in three matches, starting twice ... Totaled 11 kills (1.22 kpg), nine blocks (1.00 bpg), seven digs and three aces ... Did not commit a hitting error in 20 attempts on the season to finish with a .550 hitting percentage ... Had four kills against Cal Baptist (Jan. 7), five kills in the 49ers[apos] second meeting with the Lancers (Feb. 18) and two kills vs. St. Francis (March 12).
Pepperdine: Spent one year at Pepperdine but did not play during the season.
High School: Graduated from Dana Point High School in Dana Point, Calif., where he lettered three times in volleyball ... Had 23 blocks against Tesoro in a league match and 38 kills against Millikan in the first round of the CIF playoffs ... High school coach was Oz Simmons.
